Our first reaction is to pose the question how will this effect "with profit" policyholders?
Probably not very much as the main fund has been a closed fund for some time now, and will obviously continue to be so, and may benefit from lower overheads, but at this stage, that comment is too clever by half.
The answer therefore at this stage for shareholders and policyholders alike is to sit tight, and watch developments.
