However, looking into the crystal ball we expect "with profit" funds to take a hit in line with the general downturn, which does not auger well for 2008 bonus declarations, and also with massive frauds emerging from the woodwork, we feel it is unlikely the major Assurance Companies can escape entirely in being caught up in world events.
