Zombie Funds

Is it possible these funds might just be coming into their own?

As we see it, the investment managers have no interest in making these closed funds perform, and as a consequence have invested in staid Government Gilts, Corporate Bonds etc. with the result in these troubled times their underlying asset base within the “with profit” funds will not be suffering as much as those invested in equities.
